Museum docent
Deliver guided museum tours
Volunteers will serve as a museum guide for tour groups which include school groups and senior bus tours. This individual will inform and engage visitors with information while moving the group through the museum.
Special Event Support
Provide needed special event support
Volunteers will assist in a variety of museum functions such as historic festivals, fundraising events, and other events that may be scheduled throughout the year.
Travel counselor
Provide travel information and assistance
Volunteers will work a regular weekly schedule of a 3-hour shift, either in the morning or afternoon. Volunteers will serve as a greeter to visitors as they arrive, help visitors find neccessary travel brochures or maps, answer travel questions, answer food and lodging questions, and help orient visitors to the museum.
