German Cooked Cheese

 

Koch Kase

 

Koch Kase “Cooked Cheese” is German dish traditionally made with Quark cheese.

 

8 slices Kraft Swiss American Cheese

1 can evaporated milk (small can)

1/2 stick butter

2 tablespoons flour (leveled)

1 teaspoon caraway seeds

 

  1. Melt butter and add flour mixing well.
  2. Add milk and cheese. Heat over very low heat until melted well.
  3. Add caraway seeds and place in a container to cool completely.
  4. Store in refrigerator. Best if served on fresh homemade bread.
